Gillani User Group Meeting

Gillani and FourGen software user group meeting is planned to be held in Overland Park, KC on April 26-27. The meeting will be held on the sidelines of the International Informix User Group meeting at the Overland Park Marriott. Among other things, Gillani will be celebrating the 25 year anniversary of FourGen software, from 1983-2008, with the user community.

To commemorate this milestone, Gillani is offering 25% discount on all software through July 31, 2008.

Gillani iDistribute Nominated for 2007 IBM IOD Innovation Award

Gillani iDistribute - ERP/Distribution Management Software, was recently nominated for the coveted IBM Information on Demand Innovation Award 2007. These awards are designed to honor best-in-class applications and solutions leveraging IBM Information Management products.

The nominations are conferred on companies whose products make a statement within the marketplace and are among the best. Gillani’s achievement with IBM data servers (Informix IDS and DB2) brings recognition to providing "best practices” model to customers.

Gillani’s Modifiability-By-Design (MBD) concept is a differentiator in the marketplace. This allows to upgrade and reconfigure a customer’s underlying technology infrastructure without disturbing any of their existing business applications, ensuring future growth, improved performance, competitive advantage, and protection of investment.

At the IOD 2007 conference, Gillani iDistribute was judged as a finalist.

New Releases of Gillani Software

After acquiring the FourGen/Endura software business from irista/HK, in April 2002 Gillani launched Version 8.1 of iDistribute - Supply Chain Management, Gillani Financials - Accounting/ERP and FourGen CASE Tools solutions.

Inc500 and FAST500 Awards for Gillani in 2002

Gillani was named by Inc Magazine as an Inc500 award recipient and ranked #188 fastest growing privately held company in 2002.

The same year saw Gillani receive the Deloitte & Touche FAST50 award in Texas, ranking #13, and FAST500, ranking #313 in the USA.

Gillani and FourGen History

Gillani, Inc. was founded to address the growing need of organizations of all sizes to efficiently manage their financials and supply-chain so customers could be acquired, retained, and be provided the best service. We are very proud of our over 24 years of legacy which started when Softa Associates (later FourGen® Software) was established as an accounting software provider in 1983 by Gary Gagliardi, Rebecca Gagliardi, Loren West and later joined by Gordon Schaeffer.

Gillani had been a consulting partner with FourGen and Endura since 1997 and had a very successful consulting practice mostly concentrated around the Fourgen, Endura and Irista Distribute product suite.

On January 25, 2002 Gillani acquired from Irista/HK Systems the entire FourGen and Endura business including all FourGen software intellectual property rights, copyrights, trademarks, all existing customers/users and VAR/Partner licensing agreements, etc.

Gillani currently supports all existing FourGen Accounting, FourGen Business Accounting, FourGen CASE Tools and Endura Enterprise customers worldwide.

The Enterprise solutions were rebranded as Gillani iDistribute and Gillani Financials in 2002.

Beginning The Gillani Software Blog

Gillani Software solutions are utilized today, to run businesses in many industries and across continents. There are thousands of people using Gillani iDistribute - Distribution Management, Gillani iDistribute - Retail ERP, Gillani Financials - ERP/Accounting, FourGen Accounting and FourGen CASE Tools applications. As these users are spread across the globe from Australia and China to South Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Americas, I thought this web log could provide all of us with a forum to share information. That information could be based upon any topic related to using, implementing and maintaining the different versions of Gillani Global Enterprise Solutions.
